Who should attend a weekend?

Any high-school-aged youths who are interested in deepening their relationship with God and spending a weekend in His presence!

Is there a specific Denomination that this group serves?

No, NCA Chrysalis (Like NCA Emmaus) is a wholly ecumenical organization, and is not formally affiliated with any one particular denomination. Our community consists of Christians from all walks of life, and all denominations!

What can I expect on a weekend?

A Chrysalis weekend is a 3-day retreat with lots of worship, prayer, and fellowship with other Christians. There are 15 testimonies shared, 5 given by clergy, and 10 given by laypersons. The weekend is youth-led, and youth-coordinated. There are many moments for spiritual reflection, and lots of fun surprises, all at no expense to the caterpillars or their families!

How do you join?

In order to attend a Chrysalis weekend, an application to walk must first be completed, and then sent to [email protected]. As a weekend approaches you will receive a call from the leader of the upcoming weekend, who will confirm your details, interest in attending, and coordinate your transportation to and from the retreat.

When can I go?

Chrysalis weekends typically occur twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. In order to attend, an attendee must be in high school.
